Akikan! – Miracle Plan ga Dekichatta! by Charmmy Queen
I have no idea what to say about this OP because I’m never a fan of easy-listening pop tunes. The animations was still as average as the show itself. Speaking of Akikan!, it’s horrendous. I don’t even know if funny would be the right term too, because I was disappointed with this shit.
Maria-sama ga Miteru 4th Season – Chizu Sanpo by kukui
One sentence: A pop song with running lesbians with magic pens transporting them into the different parts of the school to meet fellow lesbians.
Shikabane Hime Kuro – Beautiful Fighter by angela
Well, it’s still the same ol’ OP just like the first season, and I don’t know why they still kept it. I think the song and the animation are speedy, which fits this action series well. But it just gives me a Super Sentai feel listening to it lol.
White Album – Shinai by Nana Mizuki
WHAT THE F***!!!!! The OP animation is boring! It just doesn’t give justice to Nana-sama!!! Hope this would pull off like what Jigoku Shoujo Mitsuganae did and save the original OP for the next episode… If not, Nana-fanboy rage ARRRGHH!!!!!
I watched the first episode already and I must say that the animation’s not quite bad, and what’s better is that the first episode saved us from Aya Hirano’s singing! It also had me laughing on how those pop idols act like envious bitches (crab mentality much?) XD. Kanzie would be blogging it so I’ll get my hands off this one.

I like White Album OP the most due to wonderful song, color, and textures
…I’m glad I decided to not blog Akikan! but I at least wanted to go back and hear how Yell (the other akikan girl w/the silver hair) sounded like (Mamiko Noto). Well, seeing the yuri just destroyed any plans for that. -_-;
And its OP is the most unoriginal thing I’ve ever heard so far a harem anime. Then again, harems are not original either so they go perfectly together. =P
I’m starting to think that all those still shots of…whatever they are (clothing material I’m guessing) are just close-ups of this pic. Some of it anyways.
But I agree. It really doesn’t do Nana-sama any justice…but I can still admire her singing all the same~! Nana-sama~! <333
…yes, I’m so buying the soundtrack CD for this series when it comes out. xD

@Xiao Jie: I agree. And I also wanna hear Mamiko Noto doing a villain-y role (I guess Yell’s villain-y right? So I’ll just skip it to where she’ll appear). I don’t really mind harems at all, it’s just that Akikan was… below average for me.
