Anime Adaptations ‘Wishlist’…

From Tora Dora to Kuroshitsuji, I’m glad that some of my fave mangas today are getting an anime adaptation. But IMO, there are still some good manga that NEEDS to be animated! Below is my ‘wishlist’ of the manga series that I hope to see an anime adaptation soon. You can also share what manga/s you want to be animated too!

MARIA+HOLIC is supposed to be on this list but I’m happy that it will now be airing this January so I think I should cross out this one on my list. The story is about a yuri fangirl who transfers to an all-girls academy to find the yuri girl of her dreams. There she met Maria, a very pretty girl who’s actually a sadist trap! Watch out for a sadistic trap ride!

And now let’s move on to my ‘wishlist’

– Killer lolis… Need to say more?

– I am a huge fan of this comedy manga. If this would turn into an anime series, I would definitely watch out for this for. The manga never fails to give a good laugh every chapter. From toilet peeping to school issues, delinquent Yankee-kun and class rep Megane-chan are two supposed-to-be different characters but they have something in common that will create a unique friendship between them.

– Even just an OVA will be alright for this suspense-filled thriller. You’ll keep guessing and guessing who is the wolf every second. Nothing gets better than adapting this into an anime to see everything on action! I wonder if it would be better to have this as an OVA or as a serie? But either way, I want this one to be animated and me and blissmo would share a new anime to love!

– And for the shoujo romances, this is what I totally want. Arina Tanemura-sensei never fails to make an emotionally-attaching series that I think would be very phenomenal when it would be adapted into an anime. With its colorful cast of characters (from traps to yakuzas) and from its broad list of genres (from school romance to yuri and yaoi), having an anime adaptation to this would definitely brighten up a day of Arina-sensei’s fans (which includes me:) ).

– Double Arts is one of the most unique shounen mangas I’ve ever seen. With its funny antics and a likable two leads (which I haven’t seen any mark of romance yet), making an anime adaptation of this one would make Omisyth shounen fans happy.

– This hot manga series is very enjoyable and fun. What if you find out that you’re uber-strict class president has a dark secret that could ruin her school image? What if you find out that she’s working in a maid cafe? This is one of my ‘badly-wanted-to-be-an-anime-series’ manga that I’m so addicted to.

Now I’m done with my list and I would probably adding some soon when I get back to all the good manga I’ve read or if I found some new good manga… Now it’s your time to share what manga/s you want to get animated! It’s free to dream!

    If they make some animated form of Melty Blood, I’ll be happy beyond words.

    Totally agree with Deadman Wonderland and Rabbit Doubt.
    Haven’t read the other ones except for Gentlemen’s Alliance Cross.
    I lost interest reading Gentlemen’s Alliance Cross after reading some of it.
    I really want to try the other three.
    I would love to see Boku no Hatsukoi wo Kimi ni Sasagu become an anime. scratch that. more like a drama.

    @xephfyre: I haven’t read that yet but I’ll try that one soon…

    @lyche3: OMG Boku no Hatsukoi! That series made me cry buckets of tears! I want it more to become a live-action series…

    @Llora-chan: Make yours too ^_^

    @KELLY: Just don’t let it be animated by Gonzo and it would be perfect! (BONES would be nice)

    You’ve read like, every manga I’ve ever fallen in love with! Except Kaichou wa Maid-sama, urgh, shoujo … But Deadman Wonderland is sooo gonna get an anime adaption because it’s THAT good, and no doubt Rabbit Doubt should get an anime adaption too! Although it’ll be really short and quick-paced.

    Hm, I agree with Shinshi Doumei Cross! I’d love to see Haine animated! I would also LOVE to see an anime adaptation of Akuma Na Eros!

    Deadman Wonderland and Double Arts are DESTINED to get an anime adaptation, but we may have to wait a year or so to see this happen. In the meantime, I’ll stick with my Killer Lolis and martial arts action in manga form.

    @blissmo: So you mean you read Gentlemen’s Alliance Cross???

    @amayalee: Oh I’ve read that one too ^_^

    @omisyth: Anything can be possible! *cross fingers*

    i’ve never even heard of all of those series with the exception of shinshi doumei cross – but the few chapters of it i’ve read didn’t interest me that much… -_- but then again… unless it’s shoved in my face, i don’t read manga until after i started watching the anime.

    I want Moe Kare or Rockin Heaven to be turned into an anime ^__^!!!
    Kaichou wa Maid sama is also great!

    The Rabbit Doubt picture looks creepy as hell. Here’s my list of anime adaptations that need to happen. I would copypasta it, but it looks better on the original page.

    Rabbit Doubt is interesting in manga.. Maybe MORE interesting if it turned into an anime.

  15. 15 Sagacious1 August 13, 2008 at 3:43 am

    Aren’t those rabbits just adorable?

  16. 16 kanzeon August 13, 2008 at 7:28 am

    @biankita: I’m such a huge fan of your Code Geass omake that I don’t watch the anime anymore (well, except when there will an episode where Kallen would get a special part)…

    @fye: Moe Kare ROCKS… Uwasa ni Midori-kun SUCKS (just to mention it)

    @Yamcha: I haven’t read some mentioned there but The World Only God Knows is a nice pick.

    @mikaino: Yeah

    @Sagacious1: Yup. Especially when they’re hung up like that.

  17. 17 biankita August 13, 2008 at 3:10 pm

    @kanzeon: as flattered as i am, i worry about you XD

  18. 18 kanzeon August 14, 2008 at 8:40 am

    @biankita: I also don’t take Code Geass seriously (look at Kallen’s b00bies…) Your omake was fun XD!!! I’m your #1 fan!
