I Love MEtanorn.

Photobucket

I officially made brand new set of banners🙂 From now, it would be the “I Love ME-tanorn Metanorn” banner series for it would last after Valentines Day.

I sticked into one main color motif background for the banners and it’s not red, it is black. Why black? Because I love black. Black looks good. Clear shampoo XDDD~… And NO it’s not that I’m emo (EWW) and not also bitter (LOL), it’s just that black looks so cool and modern and trendy and sophisticated and elegant and seductive… so yeah… there’s no point😄 I just like to paint Valentines Day with sophisticated black XD…

…So first banner up!

Peppermint Hearts

Manga: Kaichou wa Maid-sama

This banner from one of my favorite manga ever Kaichou wa Maid-sama features of course, the two main heroes, and my crushes, Usui and Misaki. Yep. I have a girl-crush on Misaki, so what? Usui is (so effing hot and naughty OMG OMG OMG it burns of hotnessdom!!!) yep, you read my mind, and Misaki is a feminist, and I looove feminist anime heroines (plus reverse trap meido Misaki ftw).

Let’s talk about how I made the banner. Actually, I just only made it in a rush (because I can’t hold the Kuroshitsuji New Year banner anymore, it’s so… old XD)  so sorry if it looks quite crappy, or something T.T… I extracted first the scan I used (credits to Animepaper.net), extracting can be pretty hard for me, but the rest was actually pretty easy. And now lets had on to the trick. First, on the bottom layer, I filled it with the stripes pattern. Now on the layer atop of it, I fill it with plain black then use the eraser (and a cute brush shape), to experiment on it, making it look pretteh XD… Then I added wings on another layer, added the “I <heart> Metanorn” on another, and voila~!

I chose the colors blue-green and pink to accompany the black because they look cool together and it gives off a cooling feel, and as what the title says, it reminds me of peppermints😄. Sorry for that cheesy title btw *still on high mode*

Heading over to my greatest plan this Hearts’ Day… I’m planning to make a “Prom Night” webcomic!🙂 Yep. Personally-designed dresses, the food, the dance floor, ladies, gentlemen, and sparks flying everywhere! And remember ok, this is just for fun and for the lulz this Valentines Day ^_^

…Ok before dreaming on that plan, I must proceed working on AnimeNTM C2’s 3rd Elimination first and that supposed-to-be year end post XD…

This has got to be my favorite metanorn banner so far. You did a good job! I think the colors blend in very nicely and I like the design, plus black is cool! ^_^

Ah! This one looks so cool! I’m always jealous of what you do in Photoshop. I can use it pretty adeptly, but I can’t use it to create anything (only manipulate and such and I never end up with anything unique). You really have such an eye for good designs and you only seem to get better.

And black is very cool. Too bad it got hijacked by emo kids so now you have to say, “I’m not emo” before using it.

I see… You are brainwashing your visitors into loving your blog even more! Very smart and sneaky of you, Kanzeon😛
